The Movement Starts Here

Ride to Eat™ isn’t just a cycling event — it’s a bold, purpose-driven experience where wellness, culture, and community collide.

Over three dynamic days, cyclists, partners, and community members will come together to ride, activate, and give back — all in support of underserved communities across the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region.

  • This is where movement fuels mission.
  • Where community shows up for community.
  • Where every mile creates impact.

Our Purpose

Ride to Eat™ was created to bridge movement with meaningful change.

We believe access to food, education, wellness, and opportunity should never be out of reach. This event is a direct extension of that belief — raising funds, awareness, and engagement to expand the Bren Herrera Foundation’s work across the DMV and beyond.

Through this initiative, we support:
  • Youth culinary and wellness education
  • Community meal programs
  • Access to nutrition and health resources
  • After-school programming and mentorship

And just as importantly, we are creating intentional space to support our Veterans — those whom have courageously served.

Honoring Our Veterans

Ride to Eat™ proudly incorporates a focus on veteran engagement and support.

We are developing veteran-specific ride routes and experiences, creating an environment where veterans can ride in community, be recognized, and feel fully supported.

We strongly encourage veterans to participate — whether as riders, volunteers, or partners — as we continue building programming that honors their service and prioritizes their wellness.

Our Goals

  • 🚴🏽‍♀️ 200+ cyclists riding in unity
  • 🍽 Thousands of meals funded for local communities
  • 🎖 Dedicated participation and support for veterans and differently abled cyclists
  • 🤝 High-impact partnerships with aligned brands and organizations
  • 🌍 Scalable growth into a nationally recognized experience

The Ride to Eat™ Experience

This is not your average cycling event — it’s a fully immersive experience.

Participants will enjoy:
  • Fully supported ride routes with SAG support
  • Curated rest stops with food + hydration
  • Branded Ride to Eat™ cycling kits
  • Community activations throughout the route
  • On-site experiences, pop-ups, and engagement zones
  • Youth cycling workshops
  • Product and gear giveaways

We are intentionally creating moments that go beyond the ride — moments that connect people, brands, and purpose.
